Our story
Independent publishing has opened the door for thousands of authors, but the door leads into a long corridor. Editing standards, trim sizes, bleed, spine widths, EPUB validation, audio mastering and retailer metadata all sit between a finished draft and a book readers can buy. Most authors should not have to master all of that alone.
Lulu Publishing Services exists to take on those parts of publishing. We bring together editors, designers, illustrators, audio producers and video editors, and we organise our work around one idea: the author stays in charge. You decide what your book needs. We give honest advice, do the specialist work and hand back files that meet platform requirements.
We keep our promises small and concrete. We reply to every enquiry within one working day. We agree scope, timeline and cost in writing before we start. We explain what we recommend and why. And we never claim ownership of your book.

(lulu.com), Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Google, Kobo, Draft2Digital, ACX or Audible. We prepare files to the published requirements of these platforms because many of our authors publish through them. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Because we are independent, we have no reason to push you toward any one platform. Our guides explain the options plainly, and the choice is yours.
